I understand your reason because I’m doing the exact same thing. I just didn’t want to be stuck with a boring phone until my contact ends.

yes, it is a quadband phone, could work in GSM 850/900/1800/1900 MHz frequency network. So it could get signal in australia with a telstra sim(GSM900/1800)

I BOUGHT THIS PHONE A WHILE AGO SAY 3 MONTHS NOW AND IT SUCKS. It basically is a cheap knock off of the iphone. It like the old story goes you get what you pay for. Yes its cheap and for a reason. Its like you have to go through a millions screens to text.

in my POV, people buy the iPhone because its Apple, it’s “THE” gadget to have. It does have incredible functionallity, even an anti-iAnything like myself can admit it. But unfortunately, most people buy something because its the new thing to have. The power of Branding

you are missing the point. it is not about the price of the iphone… it is the months after you get it when minimum contract is $70+ with all the BS… and you are hooked for 2-3 yrs… ppl that buy that want a month to month or cheap… its not hardware that kills is monthly bill

Im useing one of these til my contract is up in Dec. Phone is ok for talking, sms & mms. Camera sux & so does the internet. After searching a while I have also found a FEW good free games. Real good for viewing pics downloaded from my computer. No way I would pay $100. No more than $70. Mine was $67 on ebay.

Guys can i just say. you want a cheap touch screen phone, gt the orange vegas, its official made by orange and at least you can take it back, STAY AWAY FROM THIS PHONE

  21. 21 Ben7seven7 said at 8:39 pm on December 3rd, 2010:

Any “cheap” or “knock off” iPhone just physically looks similar to an iPhone and emulates some of the look of the OS, but looks is where it stops. People don’t buy the iPhone for it’s looks alone, they buy it for it’s functionality, the amazing multitouch screen, webbrowsing experience, App store. You will get NONE of that with any iPhone knock off. If you want an iPhone, just save your pennies and get the real thing. If you want people to THINK you have an iPhone, then get this.
